Meet our visionary leader.
Michael Fannin, CEO of Positive Contributions, founded this non-profit organization with the goal of promoting education and making a meaningful impact in the community.
A graduate of Callaway High School, Michael went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Alabama State University. He furthered his education with a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from LaGrange College, and a Specialist degree in Elementary Education from Columbus State University. With 17 years of teaching experience, Michael has dedicated much of his career to serving the children of Troup County and surrounding areas. His efforts have included providing school supplies, free haircuts, and other services to give students a fresh start each school year.
Michael is inspired by the words of John Rohn: "If you do not change what you do today, all of your tomorrows will look like yesterday," and Nelson Mandela: "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." These quotes reflect his deep belief in the transformative power of education and his commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
